They are the European Central Bank reference rates, retrieved through the free Frankfurter API. They update once per working day.
Will my bank give me this rate?
No. Banks, card networks and transfer services add their own margin and fees. Treat this as a benchmark for comparison rather than the exact amount you will receive.
Why do rates not change at weekends?
The European Central Bank publishes on working days only, so the figure stays put over weekends and public holidays.
What if the rates cannot load?
